Kyokotatsu
The Dragon’s Backbone are fertile mountain terraces in the Funkazan mountains that look as though they might have been formed from the scales of the Everserpent itself. The colors of the dragon’s backbone change with the seasons.

The Hātokawa
The Hātokawa is a great channel that divides several islands from the mainland. Its famously unquiet waters are sacred to the Aranami, for it connects them to their ancient home.
Anaketsu
This sea cave gleams with blue ice, is a twisting underground labyrinth, and is said to retain the spirits of those who speak within. None of that stops the Aranami smugglers.
Chichioya no Kao
The churning waters of the Hatogawa are the spiritual origins of the Aranami. At the mouth of the river, the faces of the Clan’s ancient founders gaze at one another for all eternity.
Kashinsha
At the center of the maze of blossoms, Kashinsha, the Blossom Temple, sits among the blooms. It offers a place of respite for the weary, and many seek out the maze at the hope of remaining in the temple.
Hana no Meiro
The maze of blossoms; a place as deadly as it is beautiful, for the bodies of those who fall in exhaustion in this maze are swiftly consumed by the plants that give the maze its name.
Ashishō
This cavern is frequented by the Aranami, who use it for smuggling. Within the twisting cave networks, carved stone pillars make the wind howl in strange tunes.
Sekai no Ibuki
A bone white tower in the northern Taikakabe mountains, many know this near-inaccessible place as the
home of the Shin’rei Arashi, though none have seen her there.
