Settled in western Ikaiguchi, Jiyūriku is the most dangerous of the Go-wa. Often considered lawless by those foolish enough to find themselves there and consists of a mainland mass joined by a landbridge with the Dorobōshima, which is the heart of the clan territory.
In contradiction of its reputation, it is not lawless. In fact, it is strictly controlled by the crime lords of the Kumo, it is just that their laws are very different to those of other regions. Whilst there are smaller townships on Dorobōshima, the main clan hub is Sairentokoe, where the landbridge joins the mainland. It is a walled city, with an extensive honeycomb of tunnels burrowing beneath the streets.
On the other side of the landbridge lies Naifunaito, the crime lord’s second city, which lies on the long road to Hanzaimachi, the secure ‘temple’ where the Kumo guard the debtors’ archive and other secrets.
