Kigan no Ken

Centuries ago, Zetsubō Kurushimi became one of the greatest battlegrounds of Ikaiguchi, or so the legends claim. Even today, the plain bears the scars of the conflict between Shin’rei and aberration, the land unable to bear the onslaught of two gods.

It was only through desperation that the battle was won; pleading to the earth itself, the Shin’rei called forth stone to rise in defense of Ikaiguchi. This stone fist, Kigan no Ken, shattered the monster’s back upon impact. The corruption of its broken body seeped into the plain, but the Fist of Stone remained untouched.

Regardless of the stories, the Fist rises above the Plain of Despair, a guide for those who cross it. Though its base is wreathed in mist, its peak stands defiant from the sorrow of that place.
