Mizu no niji

The Rainbow Waters

Carving its way through the forests of coastal Mugenmori, the Mizu no niji appears like it flows from the realm of the gods. Reds, yellows, oranges, blues, every hue ripples across the fast-flowing surface, caused by reeds that fill the river. Fish are absent from its waters, and the Yasei refuse to wade in it, though it flows from near their heartlands. Some say they’ve seen strange boats on the water recently, though their nature and their purpose are unknown.
