Kaede Oshiro
Chief amongst the woodland priests is the Mori no dai Saishi. Wisest and eldest of the Yasei, this man of peace tends the animals within the realm, an exemplar of the peace the clan espouses.
Hotaro Kanzaki
The Obake are born with the ability to skinshift – embodying the physical properties of their chosen animal avatar. Among them, Hotaro is famed for his might, the great white ape coming time and time again to the forest’s aid.
Kinomama Glade
The Yasei revere life in all its forms. When the oldest trees begin to rot and decay, they retain that life, transforming them into carved shrines.

A collection of thermal pools and shallow lakes, said to be able to heal any wound.
Jobboko Ki
Sacred to the Yasei clan, this tree consumes all: root, man, or beast. Their carcasses can be seen protruding from the tree, lending the tree its dread reputation.

Yua Ikada is one of the Kanshu, the Grove Guardians of the Yasei, fierce warriors who defend the glades. Even among their ranks, though, she has never quite belonged.
